The Aotearoa Aerospace Academy invites you to apply for the International Astronautical Federation’s Emerging Space Leaders (ESL) Grant Programme — an incredible opportunity to attend the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026) in Antalya, Türkiye, from 5–9 October 2026.
The ESL Programme is designed for aspiring space-sector leaders who want to build their careers, broaden their global perspectives, and contribute to space activities in their home countries.
Who should apply?
🚀 Students and young professionals aged 21–35 (as of 1 January 2026)
🚀 Those pursuing careers in space systems development, space science, policy, law, culture, or international cooperation
🚀 Individuals who would benefit from the experience but may not otherwise have the financial means to attend
🌍 Open to applicants from all countries, with a focus on supporting those from nations with emerging space capabilities
What does the grant include?
✈️ Return flights to Antalya
🏨 Budget accommodation
💸 Per-diem for meals, local transport, and daily expenses
🎫 Full registration to IAC 2026 + either the Space Generation Congress or UN/IAF Workshop
